  1. The City is welcoming the news that international travelers are once again permitted to enter the United States. Now that the country will allow vaccinated international travelers to enter, tourism industry insiders are gearing up for advertising again. With Huntington Beach relying on travel for income, this is good news. (@HBSurfCityUSA)
  2. OC Marathon results are in. For the men, J. Santana won the 5K with 15:02 and Ryan Cosens won the 10K with 31:42. For the women, Alyssa Block took the 5K win with 18:00 and the 10K with 36:14. (Track)
  3. Disneyland's workers were asking the company for a living wage. Located in Anaheim, the city passed “Measure L” that requires businesses taking city subsidies to raise wages “to at least $15 per hour back in 2019 and then increase wages $1 per year until 2022 at $18 per hour.” However, in 2019 the Anaheim City Attorney exempted Disney from this law “due to the cancellation of tax incentive deals that were to go to the construction of a luxury hotel.” It went to court, and a judge ruled in favor of Disney. 4. Next door Seal Beach is warning residents to get ready for winter storms. This means having pre-filled sandbanks ready for use, not putting trash cans in the gutter, and parking cars in the driveway with the engine facing up toward the garage door. Also, report downed trees and tree limbs right away. (Seal Beach PD)
