A rollover crash in the 1100 block of Imperial Beach Boulevard at Emory Street occurred Friday around 1:45 a.m., according to sheriff's deputy Matt Dolman.
The car hit a tree and came to rest just before it hit a row of two-story condominiums.
"That window you see in the photo is my kitchen," said Jeri Jacquin. "Had it gone one foot further I'd be out a home. It rattled me awake and the sound was horrible and I'm fine."
The driver was taken into custody for suspected drunk driving, Dolman said. A passenger in the car was not injured.
