This two-day festival celebrates the dead. Participants are invited to
dress as La Catrina or El Catrine, or create an altar honoring a loved
one who has passed on. You must register with the event to set up an altar.
Festivities include more than 40 vendors, arts and crafts, food, contests and more. Admission and parking are free.
The Day of the Dead Festival takes place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, and Wednesday, Oct. 30 at Southwestern College.
