Freak the Mighty, made in part by two members of the band Fuzz Huzzi, will perform in their first show Friday at The Ken Club in Normal Heights in San Diego.
Another local band, Subsurfer, will also perform. Subsurfer's song "Girl on Girl" was played during an episode of the Showtime TV show Weeds last June.
The two local bands will be joined by Stone Iris and Stage 11.
Music starts at 8 p.m.
