Noise Alert: Navy Goshawk Jet Exercises Sept. 13-20
Expect an increase in noise from Naval Air Station North Island in Coronado this week.

Neighbors near Naval Air Station North Island can expect to hear an increase in noise from Friday, Sept. 13 to Friday, Sept. 20. NASNI is scheduled to conduct aircraft training exercises during this eight day period.
A spokesman for the Naval Base Coronado said the command will be hosting multiple T-45 Goshawk jet aircraft for student naval aviators that will be conducting carrier qualifications.
Residents should expect T-45 operations until approximately 8:30 p.m. daily, the base reported.
