
The San Diego Police Department is searching for a man who opened fire outside Club Cancun Thursday at 1628 Palm Avenue in the Egger Highlands neighborhood of San Diego near Imperial Beach, said Lt. Kevin Mayer.
The alleged shooter drove an Infiniti G35 to the club and engaged people in conversation, Mayer said.
"He then went back, got in his car and two shots were heard and the victim was struck once in the chest by one shot," he said.

Shortly after the shooting, which took place around 2:15 a.m., the victim was brought to Paradise Valley Hospital in National City by his girlfriend. He is expected to survive, 10News.com reported.
No arrests have been made, Mayer said Friday. An investigation to find the shooter continues.Â
