Registration for Fall Adult School Courses Begins

Registration for continuing students started Monday. New students may begin to register for courses next week.

Students who wish to attend adult school classes in San Diego's South Bay can begin to apply for courses Monday, according to the Montgomery Adult School. 

Students who want to continue in a particular course or program may register from July 8-11. New student registration will take place from July 15-28.

The fall 2013 schedule will be released later this week and will be available online or at an adult school campus.

The following courses will be held at the Imperial Beach Adult Education Center:

- Computer repair

- Sign language

- Early childhood parenting

- English As a Second Language (ESL) 

Adult education courses in welding and to teach auto mechanic and security officer skills will be held at San Diego Job Corps.

Orientation for veterans who want to register for courses will be held July 8, July 11, July 22 and July 25. 

Sweetwater Union High School District Adult Education courses are offered through four main campuses: Montgomery, Chula Vista, National City and San Ysidro.
