Free Food for Veterans Day at VFW, American Legion

VFW Post 5477 and American Legion 820 will offer free food to veterans Monday as their way to give back on Veterans Day Monday.

American Legion 820 at 1268 Palm Ave. will serve free pulled pork sandwiches with a side of coleslaw or potato salad and dessert to veterans and their families from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

VFW Post 5477 will hold a pot luck that starts at 2 p.m. at 123 Palm Ave. Veterans and civilians are free to attend but drinks cannot be served to civilians.
