‱ College of Marin divided over textbook loan program (marinij.com) — Students at College of Marin’s Kentfield campus could soon lose easy access to free textbooks as library staff move to end an 11-year loan program ahead of a relocation to the new Center for Student Success. Administrators want faculty to manage books directly, while some professors and staff warn the change could hurt the most vulnerable students who rely on having textbooks from day one.
