• Deputy Gunfire Sends La Puente Suspect to Hospital (mynewsla.com) — A man was shot and hospitalized after Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies say he pointed a handgun at them while refusing to leave a business in the La Puente area Sunday evening. No deputies were injured, a loaded gun was recovered, and homicide detectives are investigating. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact investigators or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
