Kids Winter Clothing Exchange

Lutheran Church in the Foothills will host a Kids Winter Clothing Exchange on January 23 from 9-11 a.m.

A La Cañada Flintridge Patch Reader reached out to us to share:

Bring your gently used children’s clothing, toys and baby gear and “shop” for new items to the Lutheran Church in the Foothills on January 23.

Tickets: $5.00 (cash only, at the door)

*Drop off clothes and items between 9:00-9:30 a.m.
*Swap begins at 9:30 a.m., ends at 11:00 a.m.
*Lots of free parking.

Expecting mothers are welcome!

Please feel free to contact us with questions! It’s a fun way to get rid of stuff you don’t need, help out other families, get some “new” items for your family, and save some money while being green.

Rules for the Clothing Exchange:

1. Bring at least one (or more) grocery-sized bag(s) of gently used children’s clothes (sizes 0-12) and then use the bag to collect new clothes.

2. You can only shop with one bag at a time. You must empty the bag out (in your car) but can return and fill it up as much as you’d like.

3. No sweeping allowed! (grabbing anything and everything you can get your hands on).

4. We also take toys and gear. Please be sure that they are clean. Large items are limited to 1 per “shopper.”

5. Be considerate of others and have a good time “shopping”!

6. Shopping carts and bags with wheels are not allowed.
