Laguna Beach's 'Sip & Shuck' Benefit Returns For 9th Year

Tickets to a day of hand-shucked oysters and champagne from around the globe will be sold to help children need for a 9th year in OC.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The Deck and Driftwood Kitchen will host its 9th annual Sip & Shuck event in Laguna Beach this Sunday to raise money for children in need across Orange County.

From a beachfront venue, attendees can enjoy luxurious hand-shucked oysters with champagne, sparkling wines and spirits sourced worldwide.

Samples — and not just seafood — will also be available from The Deck, Driftwood Kitchen and Hendrix for attendees to try, Sip & Shuck organizers said.

The event, held at 627 Sleepy Hollow Lane, is for guests 21-and-over with presale tickets costing $200 for entry at 2:30 p.m. or $250 for VIP access at 1:30 p.m. The. event will run until 6 p.m.

All ticket sales will help abused or neglected children through the Court Appointed Special Advocate Association. Orange County's CASA is a part of a network of 955 local community programs serving children, according to event organizers.
