Gourmet Hot Dog Eatery To Hold Grand Opening Saturday

Yummy Dogs is hosting its grand opening in Laguna Beach on Saturday, April 29. Here's what to know.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A new hotdog eatery is opening its doors in Laguna Beach, and residents can be a part of welcoming Yummy Dogs into the community during their grand opening on Saturday, April 29.

Residents unable to make it to the eatery's grand opening celebration Saturday can also mark their calendars for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to be hosted by the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, May 11.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will feature prizes, giveaways and more, according to the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 11. Residents were asked to RSVP in advance by emailing director@lagunabeachchamber.org.

According to the eatery's website, Yummy Dogs was founded by a father-daughter team in 2022.

"Yummy Dogs provides gourmet hot dogs, soft pretzels, nachos and other grand-and-go snacks for an inexpensive alternative to most Laguna Beach restaurants," the website read. "We combine that with retro-style gaming for adults and new-style gaming for kids."

Some of the arcade games offered at Yummy Dogs include basketball, virtual reality roller coaster, crane-style prize games and more.

"We are so excited to have Yummy Dogs in Laguna Beach," Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce CEO Erin Slattery told Patch. "The fun arcade games and gourmet hot dogs are going to be a big hit with local families."

The grand opening celebration for Yummy Dogs takes place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 29.
