Officer-Involved Shooting Reported In Laguna Beach

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — An officer-involved shooting was reported in Laguna Beach Sunday though police say no one was injured.

Police conducted a "high risk" car stop after they were made aware of a stolen vehicle around 4:50 p.m. The officer-involved shooting occurred during the car stop in the area of Thalia Street and Coast Highway. Police say the suspect fled on foot but has since been located and taken into custody.

Police said no injuries were reported as a result of the shooting.
