Rivian Retail Center To Take Place Of Former South Coast Cinemas

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A new retail and experience center announced plans to open later this year at the former South Coast Cinemas on Coast Highway in Laguna Beach, the Orange County Register reported.

Rivian, Irvine's electric-vehicle maker, will open "Spaces" as a center designed to provide customers an opportunity to see and drive the company's two all-electric vehicles, the R1T pickup truck and the R1S sport-utility vehicle.

Rivian opened its first retail and experience center in Venice Beach in 2021, the newspaper reported.
