The Laguna Beach-based Pacific Marine Mammal Center is fundraising until the end of the year to aid efforts in saving area marine mammals.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The Laguna Beach-based Pacific Marine Mammal Center is fundraising through 2024 to better attend to the ocean wildlife they serve.
Part of that is monitoring the sea lions in their care, according to a recent Facebook post.
"Can sea lions serve as indicators of ocean health and help us better understand our environment? Yes!" they wrote. "We are part of a vast interconnected system that links us and our future."
