Dana Point Festival Of Whales Will Return In March
The weekend will include the Festival of Whales Parade, a concert at Baby Beach and whale watching excursions around Dana Point Harbor.

DANA POINT, CA — Dana Point Harbor will celebrate this year's whale watching season in March with the return of its annual Festival of Whales.
The festival is now in its 51st year and will be from March 5 to 6. The event "pays tribute to the annual migration of California gray whales past Dana Point," according to the Dana Point Harbor Partners, which sponsors the festival.
The festival weekend will start with a "Welcoming of the Whales Ceremony" at the Ocean Insitute on March 4. The ceremony will feature live music, educational activities and food trucks, Dana Point Harbor Partners said.
