Dana Point Wants To Hear Children's Whale Tales
Dana Point is holding a whale-themed art and literature contest this month for children living in the city.
DANA POINT, CA — Dana Point officials are looking for young storytellers and artists to enter the city's "Whale of a Kid's Art and Literature Contest."
The contest is open to children of all ages and involves crafting a story, poem or piece of art related to the California grey whale, city officials said. Winners of the contests will win a whale watching trip and gift basket.
The city's recreation department is accepting contest entries by email, and the deadline is March 28.
