Laguna Niguel Woman Pleads Guilty To Stabbing Boyfriend In 2015

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — A Laguna Niguel woman pleaded guilty on Tuesday to fatally stabbing her boyfriend in 2015.
Michele Lynn Green, 56, admitted to a single felony count of voluntary manslaughter in the death of Richard Begley, 52. Both Green and Begley lived in the same house in the 24000 block of La Vida Drive, authorities said.
Green is scheduled to be sentenced on July 22 and faces three to 11 years in prison.

Prosecutors said Green stabbed Begley on the night of Feb. 21, 2015, following a "domestic dispute." Begley died from a single stab wound to his stomach and was found by police on the front lawn of his house, authorities said.
