Police Investigate Report Of Men Pursuing Woman On Jog In South OC

DANA POINT, CA — Dana Point Police Services sought the public's help in finding more information about an incident reported on Capo Beach Wednesday night.

According to police, a woman reported to have been followed by three to four men while out on an evening jog.

"Although the suspect's motives were unknown, this undoubtedly caused great concern to the information," the Orange County Sheriff's Department said in a statement. "Deputies were unable to locate the subjects, but we believe it is important for our community to identify these men and better understand their actions."

Residents in the Capo Beach area were urged to check any surveillance footage they have that may be beneficial to police. Residents with information were urged to contact the OCSD at 714-647-7000.
