Public Beaches, Pools Permitted To Reopen In Dana Point
Masks are no longer required in Dana Point, but residents are still strongly encouraged to wear them while outside the home.
DANA POINT, CA — Just in time for the weekend, public beaches, public pools and HOA pools are now allowed to re-open in Dana Point, the city announced Friday. Beaches are only open for passive uses.
The city also announced registration for summer recreation classes has been pushed back to Monday, June 22. Registration will open at 7:30 a.m.
In Dana Point, city hall is now open to the public from Monday through Friday. Walk-ins are permitted from 8 a.m. to noon, and appointments can be made for meetings between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Residents are still urged to wear cloth face coverings when outside their homes, and especially when they are not able to create social distance between themselves and others. Per the County Health Officer, masks are no longer required, but their use is still encouraged.
