DANA POINT, CA — The Orange County Sheriff's Department announced Thursday it arrested a San Diego man in connection to a fatal fight at a Dana Point pizza restaurant earlier this month that left one man dead.

Authorities said Isaacson's arrest was in connection to the death of Michael Terry, 38, of Laguna Niguel.

He suffered "a serious injury" and was taken to a hospital, where he died the next day, authorities said. Carrie Braun, a spokesperson for the sheriff's department, declined to say how Terry was injured in the fight because the investigation into his death is ongoing.
It's unknown if the two men knew each other before the fight or what led to the altercation, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
The man Terry fought fled from the area before sheriff's deputies arrived, the sheriff's department said.
Sheriff's officials said Isaacson was eventually identified as a suspect in the fight and arrested Wednesday.
