DANA POINT, CA — Residents have the chance to win $300 in gift cards and a family whale watching trip as part of a scavenger hunt going on this month at the Dana Point Harbor.

The scavenger hunt involves finding eight wooden, decorative whale tails hidden throughout the harbor, Dana Point officials said. The scavenger hunt ends on March 27.

To participate in the scavenger hunt, residents must take a photo of themselves next to the whale tail. After finding all eight tails, residents can email their photos to Dana Point's recreation department for a chance to win the scavenger hunt.
