Amazon Key Now Available In San Diego
The tech giant said Prime Members can now have their packages delivered inside the house.

SAN DIEGO, CA -- Amazon announced on Wednesday that it will offer in-home delivery services to 37 cities across the nation, including San Diego.
Amazon Key, which will ensure packages are brought inside the home, will be available Nov. 8 to Prime members.
“Amazon Key gives customers peace of mind knowing their orders have been safely delivered to their homes and are waiting for them when they walk through their doors,” said Peter Larsen, vice president of delivery technology, said. “Now, Prime members can select in-home delivery and conveniently see their packages being delivered right from their mobile phones.”

Amazon Key includes installing a system that allows delivery drivers to access the home without using a key. Customers can can control who has access into their home by using an app, according to a press release.
The service works for same-day, one-day, two-day and standard shipping.

To install the Amazon Key kit is $249.99.
