‘I Love A Clean San Diego’ Creek Cleanup

Volunteers from throughout the county will fan out to join in the ninth annual Creek to Bay Cleanup, a coordinated series of inland and coastal clean-ups at about 70 sites in the county.

Organizers estimate that more than 5,000 volunteers removed 80 tons of debris last year, or roughly 32 pounds of trash per volunteer.

There will be cleanups in Carlsbad, Cardiff, Leucadia, Coronado, Oceanside, Encinitas, La Jolla, Rancho Penasquitos, Ramona, La Mesa, Santee, Lemon Grove and Imperial Beach.
