La Jolla: Spring Forward Storytime Scavenger Hunt Is A Family Affair

La Jolla Village Merchants Association in partnership with La Jolla Riford Library is proud to announce a brand new family event that will take place on Sunday, March 13 from 11 am to 2 pm. The event celebrates longer days, the hour of sunlight due to the beginning of daylight savings time. (Daylight savings time officially begins at 2:00 am in the wee hours of March 13.) The family-friendly scavenger hunt will feature sips, snacks and surprises for the whole family including storytime with Ms. Katia, Youth Librarian, La Jolla Riford Library. Children will have a chance to visit various merchants throughout La Jolla Village in search of clues to solve a simple and timely word game. There will be prizes and treats for all who participate. All ages welcome!
