Man Shot at Motel in La Jolla
Police said the gunshot wound was not life threatening and described the suspect as a 24-year-old man.

A man was shot in a hand and pistol-whipped at motel in La Jolla today.
The shooting at the La Jolla Biltmore Motel at 5385 La Jolla Blvd. was reported to police shortly after 5:30 p.m., San Diego Police Department Officer Dino Delimitros said.
The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which were not believed to be life-threatening, according to Delimitros.
