SDPD Take Armed Robbery Suspect into Custody in La Jolla
A 21-year-old man was arrested Wednesday morning for an attempted armed robbery of Carlton Gallery on the 1100 block of Prospect Street

A man identified as 21-year-old Cameron Cash is in police custody for attempted armed robbery in La Jolla Wednesday.
San Diego Police Lt. Tom Underwood said the man attempted to rob Carlton Gallery at 1144 Prospect Street in La Jolla at 10:46 a.m. Underwood said a gallery employee fought off the suspect and pepper sprayed him before the suspect fled in a white truck.
Police arrested Cash on Girard Avenue near Genter Street at 11:10 a.m. after a "high risk vehicle stop" with guns drawn, police reported.
The only injuries reported were to the suspect in custody due to pepper spray. Cash was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla for an evaluation before being taken to county jail, police said.
