Poll: Will a Paywall at U-T San Diego Improve Company’s Bottom Line?
Websites of major metro dailies have been moving to subscription model in recent months.

U-T San Diego took a leap into the unknown Thursday it would charge for online content after visitors accessed 15 stories in a given month. In so doing, it became part of a national trend. The paper whose corporate headquarters once was in La Jolla (along with the Copley family owners) also is betting on U-T TV, currently a free website but eventually on Cox Channel 114. Media watchers including Voice of San Diego had plenty to say about the move to charge. What say you?
