A 95-year-old cancer sufferer in a wheelchair is required to give up her diaper and board without underwear. Do do feel this is right?

Based on today's news item about a woman and her mother flying from Florida to Michigan, Patch asks:

How would you react if your elderly mother, in the final stages of cancer, traveling in a wheelchair, was taken into a room at an airport without you and forced to give up the diaper she was wearing so "security staff could complete their search?"

How would you feel if this was the only diaper she happened to have with her and she now had to fly without underwear as well?
