Water Main Break Shuts Down Prospect Street, Floods Business
Officials say the downtown La Jolla street will be closed for repairs until 5 p.m. Wednesday.

A water main ruptured in La Jolla early today, sending water gushing through the streets and flooding at least one business.
The water main break in the 800 block of Prospect Street was reported around 2:30 a.m., San Diego police Sgt. Ray Battrick said.
At least one business was flooded, according to KGTV 10 News, which reported that water was entering an Edward Jones office.
