1 Rescued In Lake Elsinore After Falling Out Of ATV

LAKE ELSINORE, CA -- A helicopter rescue was needed Friday night after a victim reportedly fell out of an ATV, surviving the crash with moderate injuries. The Riverside County Fire Department said the incident was reported at 7:16 p.m. at Baxter Ranch and Lindell roads.

Fire officials said the person fell out of the ATV in a remote area that required a helicopter to hoist the person up.

The victim was then transported by ground ambulance to an area hospital.

More than a dozen firefighters were called to the scene.
