How did this person, place or experience make a difference in your life or community this year?

She's always been there for me.

What would you like everyone in town to know about your nominee?

She retired from teaching 35 years of 7th and 8th grade physical education. Not too many can claim that distinction in California.

If you could tell them one thing, what would it be?

I love you.

What’s something you love most about your town or community?

Small village vibe but close enough to get to hockey games.
