Aletha is devoted to the academic, emotional, and behavioral growth of some of the most overlooked students. She works beyond their disabilities, instead focusing on their abilities.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She does not have a job as a teacher, she has a life as an educator. She constantly tries to find new ways to reach each one of her students through her personal interactions with the students, their parents, and the para-professionals that work with her.

As a fellow teacher, she inspires me to be better every day.
