Blaze Burns Acreage East of Corona Airport
The cause of the fire is under investigation.

CORONA, CA — A brush fire that broke out Tuesday just east of Corona Municipal Airport scorched about four acres before crews got it partially contained.
The non-injury blaze was reported about 2 p.m. in the area of Auburndale and Rincon streets, according to the Corona Fire Department.
The agency said multiple engine crews from the city and Riverside County Fire Department deployed to the location, encountering flames in medium vegetation but not immediately threatening homes or other structures.

A pair of Cal Fire water-dropping helicopters were summoned to make drops on the brusher, which firefighters were making progress encircling by 4 p.m.
The area is in the vicinity of two prior fires over the summer. A homeless encampment was close to where one of the brushers started along a dry riverbed.
