RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A new Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department chief was appointed on Tuesday.

Robert Fish replaces outgoing Chief Bill Weiser, who retired after a 44-year firefighter career.

Fish, who will begin as the county's chief immediately, began his fire service career in 1992 as a volunteer firefighter in Moreno Valley. Read the full press release below:
