Corona Celebrates Tree Lighting, Spark Of Love Toy Drive This Weekend
The celebration will feature 40 tons of real snow, food vendors, train rides, pictures with Santa, the Corona Fire Department's toy drive.
CORONA, CA — The city of Corona will host its annual Holiday Lighting Celebration Sunday, Dec. 8, on the Historic Civic Center front lawn.
The free event for all ages will be held at 815 W. Sixth St. from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday.
The celebration will feature 40 tons of real snow, food vendors, train rides, pictures with Santa, the Corona Fire Department's "Spark of Love" toy drive where people can write letters to Santa and donate unwrapped toys, and several live holiday entertainment acts.

A road closure will be in place between Vicentia and Buena Vista avenues for the duration of the event. Residents are urged to use West Second Street as an alternative road.
