Coroner IDs Motorcyclist Killed In Cajalco Road-Area Crash

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department Coroner's Bureau released the identity of the man killed in the Sunday crash.

CORONA, CA — The Riverside County Sheriff's Department Coroner's Bureau released the identity of a motorcycle rider killed Sunday evening in a collision in Corona. His identity was released following notification of his next of kin.

Edgar Flores, 48 of Perris, succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene of the two-vehicle crash, shortly before 9 p.m., according to the coroner.

The crash was reported about 8:45 p.m. Sunday on Cajalco Road, about two miles east of Eagle Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The motorcycle and a black sedan collided in the crash, and reports from the scene said that one vehicle went off the road and was 300 feet down a canyon. It was not immediately clear which vehicle left the roadway.

Cajalco Road was shut down between Temescal Canyon Road and La Sierra Avenue during the incident. No other information was immediately available.
