Crews Battle Cariso Fire West Of Lake Elsinore
The brush fire on North Main Divide burned at least 3-4 acres before incident command was transitioned to the U.S. Forest Service.

EL CARISO, CA — Riverside County Firefighters battled a brush fire Saturday evening in El Cariso that burned an estimated three to four acres.
The Cariso Fire ignited in the 14000 block of North Main Divide and was reported at 8:14 p.m., according to the department.
Riverside County Fire was also assisted by firefighters from the Orange County Fire Authority, the department reported.

At least 15 engines and two dozen trucks were involved in the firefighting.
No injuries were immediately reported.

At 10:51 p.m. Saturday, Riverside County Fire reported that incident command for the Cariso Fire was transitioned to the U.S. Forest Service - Cleveland National Forest.
