Fire Crews Snuff Out Fire in Abandoned Mobile Home
Fire officials say the Perris blaze spread to a detached garage and several trees behind the residence.

PERRIS, CA — Firefighters Wednesday extinguished a blaze that broke out in an abandoned double wide mobile home in Perris and spread to a detached garage and several trees behind the residence.
Crews were called about 12:15 a.m. to the 400 block of Turquoise Drive and located the mobile home, which was 25 percent involved with fire, according to a statement from the Riverside County Fire Department.
Firefighters declared a knockdown at 1:18 a.m. and contained the blaze to the mobile home, garage and trees.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
