Fire On Riverside County Line 99% Contained
The Euclid Fire broke sparked in the area of the Corona (71) Expressway at Euclid Avenue in Chino Hills, fire officials said.

NORCO, CA —A fire that has scorched 120 acres of brush along the border of Riverside and San Bernardino counties west of Norco was 99% contained Sunday.
The so-called Euclid Fire broke out about 2:50 p.m. Wednesday in the area of the Corona (71) Expressway at Euclid Avenue in Chino Hills.
Riverside County Fire Department units were sent to assist the San Bernardino County and Chino Valley fire departments in battling the blaze.

On Thursday afternoon, California Highway Patrol officers shut down both sides of the Expressway at Euclid.
As of 6:30 p.m. Sunday, the fire was 99% contained by a ring of cleared brush, according to the RCFD.

Crews patrolled and put out hot spots inside the perimeter Sunday and worked to repair the burn footprint so that people can use the land, fire officials said.
Thirty-two firefighters remained assigned to the blaze, Cal Fire reported.
There have been no reports of injuries or property damage.
