Gas Prices Drop In Wildomar, Across Riverside County: Where To Fill Up

WILDOMAR, CA — Gas prices have dropped slightly across Riverside County, the AAA and Oil Price Information Service announced Tuesday.

Near Lake Elsinore and Wildomar, the cheapest fuel for sale was at the Sinclair Gas Station, located at Perris Boulevard and E. 2nd Street, was selling self-serve unleaded at $4.29 per gallon, according to GasBuddy.com.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in dropped two-tenths of a cent Tuesday to $4.601, the eighth time in nine days it has changed by two-tenths of a cent or less in Riverside County.

The average price was unchanged five times in the six days between Sept. 22 and Saturday, rose one-tenth of a cent Sunday and two-tenths of a cent Monday, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is four-tenths of a cent less than one week ago but 13.1 cents more than one month ago and 18.6 cents higher than one year ago. It has dropped $1.772 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price recorded its largest increase since Aug. 27, rising 1.5 cents to $3.15, the second consecutive increase following a run of nine decreases in 10 days totaling 7.1 cents. The national average price is 2.1 cents less than one week ago, 4.2 cents less than one month ago and 6.6 cents lower than one year ago.

The national average price has dropped $1.866 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
