Hit-And-Run Crash Slows I-15 Traffic North Of Lake Elsinore

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Two cars were sidelined heading north on I-15 at Indian Truck Trail after a "hit and run crash" that caused injury, California Highway Patrol reported.

Just after 10:15 a.m., a dark gray Toyota Minivan was involved in a hit-and-run crash on the northbound I-15, CHP dispatch operators said. A black Toyota Corolla was also on the right-hand side of the roadway, but their involvement in the collision was unclear.

Three patients suffered minor injuries due to the crash, and CalFire medics treated them at the scene, according to a department spokesperson.

Traffic through the area was slow as of 11:30 a.m.
