I-15 Road Cleanup Slated From Lake Elsinore To Temecula: Watch For Lane Closures

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Attention to all northbound and southbound I-15 commuters: There will be alternating lane closures from Tuesday through Thursday of next week from the San Diego/Riverside County line to Lake Elsinore, Caltrans has alerted drivers.

The I-15 freeway sweeping operation, starting at south of Temecula through to Nichols Road, on Tuesday, the California Department of Transportation shared.

"Work will occur from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18th to Thursday, Nov. 20th, according to Caltrans officials. Expect roadwork on the center median and the right shoulders.

The maintenance cleanup of the freeway follows a cold-weather storm, and will be conducted by the Corona Maintenance crews, weather permitting.
