Lake Elsinore Mobile Home Destroyed In Monday Morning Fire

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Fire rendered a mobile home in Lake Elsinore uninhabitable Monday, but there were no reports of injuries.

Shortly after 7:45 a.m., 911 callers alerted the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department of smoke and flames from the mobile home in the 31700 block of Machado Street, a spokesperson for the department said.

As firefighters arrived, they found the mobile home fully aflame. By 8:30 a.m., firefighters had contained the blaze to the one structure, fire officials said.

The Red Cross was requested to assist one displaced adult. Firefighters will remain on-scene for an additional hour working on salvage and overhaul. There were no injuries reported.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
