Man Shot To Death In Moreno Valley Home

Deputies said the suspect fled prior to their arrival and remained at large.

MORENO VALLEY, CA — A man died after he was shot in a Moreno Valley home Sunday.

The shooting occurred around 1:45 a.m. Sunday in the 13600 block of Red Mahogany Drive, according to Riverside County sheriff's Lt. M. Martinez.

The 40-year-old Moreno Valley man was rushed to a hospital by paramedics and was pronounced dead at 7:28 a.m., Martinez said. His name will not be released until relatives are notified.

The suspect was described as a man in his 20s with curly brown hair, wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

Deputies said the suspect fled prior to their arrival and remained at large.
