Man Suspected Of Gunning Down His Wildomar Neighbors Awaits Charges
Formal charges of murder and attempted murder were pending Tuesday evening against David Rodolfo Jimenez Osornio, 33.

WILDOMAR, CA — The Riverside County District Attorney's Office said Tuesday afternoon that it is still reviewing the case of a Wildomar man who is suspected of gunning down a couple in his neighborhood.
Formal charges are pending against David Rodolfo Jimenez Osornio, 33, following violence that was reported shortly before 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 24000 block of Orange Street, a Wildomar residential tract neighborhood situated just east of Interstate 15.
Deputies were summoned to the address regarding an assault with a deadly weapon. At the scene, they found 64-year-old Jesus Monge and a 56-year-old woman both suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Monge was pronounced dead at the location, while the woman was transported to a local hospital and on Monday was listed in stable condition, the sheriff's department reported.
A sheriff's department spokesperson said Tuesday that the victims were a couple, and Jimenez Osornio lived in the same Wildomar neighborhood.

Jimenez Osornio was taken into custody on Orange Street and booked into Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. His relationship, if any, to the victims was not disclosed.
Jail records show his bail was set at $1 million, and he is due to appear in court on Wednesday.
