Massive Warehouse Project Targeted For Grand Avenue In Lake Elsinore
The Rome Hill Commercial Project is slated for 6.77 vacant acres at Grand Avenue and Kathryn Way.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A proposal to build two commercial manufacturing warehouses totaling 92,760 square feet in Lake Elsinore is up for possible approval this week.
During the 7 p.m. Nov. 18 Lake Elsinore City Council meeting, a public hearing will be held for the Rome Hill Commercial Project that is targeted for 6.77 vacant acres at Grand Avenue and Kathryn Way.
On Oct. 21, the city Planning Commission unanimously approved the project, with a 4-0 vote (Planning Commission Vice Chair Michael Carroll recused himself).

The proposed project calls for two, two-story buildings, each up to 29 feet tall and just over 46,000 square feet, to be built in phases, with loading docks and approximately 173 parking spaces. The long rectangular lot is situated on the southwest side of the lake, not far from the Wildomar border.

Primary access to the site will be off Grand Avenue, according to city documents. As such, the city is requiring the project applicant to implement improvements along the Grand Avenue frontage area.

During Tuesday night's City Council meeting, environmental issues, zoning changes, conditional use permits, design review, and other topics are expected to be reviewed.
According to city documents, the project applicant is Guy Selleck, G.E.M. Investments, LLC.
