Road Work Makes 15 Freeway At Clinton Keith Road Gnarly

The southbound I-15 in Wildomar was partially obstructed today because of repairs to the pavement and it will be so for the next week, officials said.

Lanes on the southbound I-15 --  from Clinton Keith Road in Wildomar to California Oaks Road/Kalmia Street -- are being shut down all week for roadwork, Caltrans reports.

The far right and middle lanes were closed from 12:01 a.m. to 5:01 a.m. Saturday; the far left lane had been closed from 11:01 p.m. Friday until it reopened for traffic at 6:01 a.m. Saturday, according to the California Department of Transportation.

The far right and middle southbound lanes will be shut down for repairs again at 12:01 a.m. Sunday to 4:01 a.m., Caltrans reported.

From 12:01 a.m. to 7:01 a.m., Sunday, a third lane will be closed on the southbound side, officials said, making passage of traffic through the area a challenge.

There will be road closures on that stretch until Friday, when a full road closure will occur, then again a full closure July 30 for installations.
