Person, Horse Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash On I-15 In Norco
Witnesses reported seeing several horses running in the northbound and southbound lanes, including one that may have been struck by a car.
NORCO, CA — One person and a horse were killed in a solo-vehicle crash Sunday morning on Interstate 15 in Norco, authorities said.
Paramedics also rushed one person with minor injuries to a hospital, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.
The crash occurred about 1:57 a.m. on the northbound route at 6th Street, the California Highway Patrol said.

Witnesses reported seeing several horses running in the northbound and southbound lanes, including one that may have been struck by a motorist.
The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert for the closure of all lanes of northbound Interstate 15 south of the Limonite Avenue off-ramp. The Fast Track lanes remained open.
The roadway was cleared at 5:09 a.m.
